MTC seeking PAID Booking Agent

MTC is seeking a part time entry level agent to pitch artists to venues beginning in February. Experience is not necessary, but an outgoing personality and some music industry knowledge is. The opening is perfect for a music business student to learn about the industry while making money. The position is only for 4-5 hours per week, with both an hourly rate and commission, so it's perfect for somebody with a busy school or music schedule. Jessie G and Gretchen Wilson Wrap up Recording

MTC artist Jessie G has wrapped up recording her debut EP, and is gearing up for the first single release and radio tour for the album. The songs feature Grammy winning country legend Gretchen Wilson, who cowrote and sings on several songs, and produced the album. Jessie raised over $30,000 via crowdfunding from her dedicated base of fans throughout the country.

Matthew Hundley Wraps Up West Coast Tour

MTC artist Matthew Hundley wraps up his solo tour across the Western US in the next two weeks, with shows in Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, and Colorado. Hundley has been playing intimate acoustic venues throughout the country to build up the markets for his next full band tour in summer of 2016. He returns to Nashville in January to record his single, "Back to Country" with Scotty Schultz, who will be bringing Shooter Jenning's touring band onto the project.
